EMFF (Easy Musicplayer For Flash)

  1. Why does the EMFF play some MP3 files too fast?
  2. I copied the EMFF code into my website, but there is only a white rectangle - why?
  3. May I use the EMFF in my private / uncommercial / commercial projects?
  4. Do I have to write a link to your website?
  5. Can I also play WAV, OGG, WMA files or streams?

Why does the EMFF play some MP3 files too fast?

The Flash Plugin only supports MP3 files with a frequency of 44100 Hz.
To fix your problem, just re-encode your MP3 files to 44100 Hz.

I copied the EMFF code into my website, but there is only a white rectangle - why?

It seems that you forgot to copy the correct skin file (e.g. "emff_standard.swf") to your website directory, or you copied it to the wrong directory.

May I use the EMFF in my private / uncommercial / commercial projects?

Of course!
As long as you don't change the EMFF itself you may use it in any project you want. If you modify and publish the EMFF the source code must be published too (according to the GPL).

Do I have to write a link to your website?

No, you are not bound to do this - it's your decision. Needless to say I'm happy if you do so. :-)

Can I also play WAV, OGG, WMA files or streams?

Due to the limitations of the Flash Plugin only MP3 files are allowed.
